But did you know that this fast food chain was first established in Oklahoma in 1953? One of the best things of Sonic is that they don’t restrict their happy hours to just the weekdays, they have them on weekends too. And even better is that aside from the typical 2:00 to 4:00 pm that most restaurants offer, Sonic has a late-night dinner happy hour too. So, if you’ve been working or just very busy all day long and haven’t had the time to eat, you could always head out to your favorite restaurant and grab a great economical meal after 8:00pm. Nice, isn’t it?

And there’s more. If you haven’t had the chance to try them yet, you must order the awesome New Spicy Super Crunch Chicken Strips that have been on the menu since March, 2015. Picture white meat chicken strips with an extra spicy zing and an extra crunchy texture with Sonic’s all-time hit dips such as Hickory BBQ, Ranch or Honey Mustard? Savor the taste of the crisp covering even as each bite melts into your mouth. Mouthwatering, huh?
Are you counting calories? Sonic has an offering of burgers that will cost you less than 450 calories each. So, you could try the Jr. Burger and the Jr. Deluxe Burger and maybe feel a little bit less guilty. They’re supposed to be available only for a short time and at selected locations, but who knows? They might just catch on.
Granted these new offers may not be on the happy hour menu list but you could always choose the half-price slushes, drinks and teas to offset the cost of your meals. And considering summer’s coming up, the hot, spicy chicken might need just the chill of the after-8:00 pm, half-priced shakes to create the perfect combination. Sonic will be offering this deal, all through the summer!

In case, you didn’t know, they have a range of 25 flavors of shakes on the Sonic Menu, each made with their very own Sonic Real Ice Cream. While you could choose from treats like Strawberry Cheesecake, and Peanut Butter Fudge, to name just a couple, you also have the option to request them to put together a flavor you’ve created just for yourself. I mean, if you’ve always been curious about how a particular combination will taste, you could simply get one made. Also order a bunch of sides at 99 cents each and you’re good to go.
You folks might just be in for a whole new range of exciting offers considering that Sonic is hiring and promoting a few new faces to head their management team and they’ve got impressive credentials under their belt. So keep a close watch on the menu, people!!
