An unit of the Ignite Restaurant Group Inc., based in Houston, the Romano’s Macaroni Grill has always been one of the best Italian food outlets in America. As you probably know, in October 2014, Romano’s had introduced a new dining concept, the Kitchen Counter. You should have ordered an express lunch that was hot off the grill and completely delicious.

This concept allowed customers to place their orders, take a number on a stand and choose their seats. On an average, all orders were readied and delivered to the diners in about 3 and a half minutes. When they were done eating, they could just leave. This probably was the best thing that could have happened to busy people who loved Italian food but didn’t really have the time to wait out the long lines to order, find a table and pay. And of course, if the meal was not served in 7 minutes, it was complimentary.

Did the idea catch on? Absolutely!! Customers loved it and those who preferred to enjoy their regular macaroni grill menu at leisure, could do just that.

And now, John Gilbert, the President of Romano’s Macaroni Grill has decided to take the concept a step further. Since March, they have extended it to dinner too. Isn’t that awesome?

While you could order off the lunch menu at the completely pocket-friendly price of $7 with a promise of delivery within 7 minutes, the Romano’s Kitchen Counter dinner menu is up for grabs at $9. And if it is not ready and delivered within 9 minutes, it’s free!!

So, if you’ve got that thing planned after dinner, no worries!! Head out to the Macaroni Grill and order an express meal from a selection of Pesto Chicken Farfalle, Chicken Penne and Prosciutto, Chicken Carbonara and Pork Belly, and many more along with appetizers, plates and their signature dishes of Buffalo Chicken Spaghetti and Brisket Folded Ravioli. Like John Gilbert would put it, it’s a “fast, high-quality meal without the fast-food experience.” Do we agree? Oh yes!!

May we throw in a quick reminder? They have Mezzo Prezzo Thursdays when you can order wine bottles at half the price. So order one with your dinner and have a lip-smacking, authentic Italian meal at the best prices ever.

Speaking of best prices, did you know that Macaroni Grill happy hours are offered from 3:00 in the afternoon right up to 10:00 in the night? And On Fridays and Saturdays, these hours are extended by an extra hour up to 11:00 pm. The menu is the same on all the days of the week; and you have a range of exciting options for economical and well, quick dinners at Romano’s Macaroni Grill.

A footnote. You could be looking at many new concepts being introduced in the coming days. Romano’s Macaroni Grill is changing hands and the new owners are Redrock Partners LLC. So, all you Italian food fans, keep watch on this space for new developments. We’ll keep you posted!
