Even though Starbuck Drink menu has its standard items – Coffee, Tea, Smoothies, Blended Beverages and juices, one thing that that must be said about the Starbucks drink menu is that it is ever-changing. Not only are new items and concepts being introduced to the public all the time, but there is a seasonality about the Starbucks drink menu and Starbucks drink prices.
Starbucks Coffee only available at certain times
In the United States, certain drinks are available only at certain times. Christmas (or winter) always sees the return of the Eggnog Latte, and other seasonal favorite like the Peppermint Mocha, and Gingerbread Latte. This year (2014) the Starbucks drink menu has added two new taste treats: the Caramel Brulée Latte, and the Chestnut Praline Latte. And, of course, for maximum taste, there is the Caramel Brulée Frappuccino and Peppermint Mocha Frappccino. For purists (those who must) have hot chocolate on a cold winter day there is Peppermint Hot Chocolate.
Thanksgiving and the fall months will find other specialty drinks on the Starbucks menu: The Pumpkin Spice Latte is back! And, if you are really cool and know about the Starbucks secret menu, you can ask for a Franken Frappuccino (Green tea Frappuccino, white mocha flavor, peppermint and java chips). The Starbucks menu prices for this scary-looking but yummy treat is about $3.00.
Spring and summer are usually when new Frappuccinos, Iced Drinks and Smoothies show up on the Starbucks drink menu. Depending on the area (and the heat) iced offerings may move up on the reader-board.
Of course, the Starbucks drink menu always includes coffee in all its forms (brewed, blended, Lattes, Frappuccinos, iced, and bottled). Lattes, Cappuccinos, and Macchitos are available in just about any favor or combination. If you don’t see what you want on the Starbucks drink menu, just order what you want. If you want a Cinnamon Dolce Latte with a shot of hazelnut – tell your barista. It’s your choice. You can order an Eggnog Latte with a shot of salted caramel, or an Iced Skinny Latte with whip (whipped cream on top). It kind of defeats the purpose, but you’re the customer.
Tea lovers can find regular, green or herb tea – even tea lattes and blended fruit and tea drinks. Customers in summer, or warm climates, will particularly like the iced tea selection on hot days. And, of course, there is nothing better than an afternoon cup of warm tea help you through the day. Unless it’s an afternoon cup of coffee.
Smoothies on the Starbucks drink menu are probably the smallest category (on three at the present time) and only three Fizzo’s (handcrafted sodas) are available (not everywhere). But if you want a juice, or a juice- and- smoothie-like drink, Starbucks has an entire line of proprietary drinks called “Evolution Fresh”. These drinks feature cold-press pressed fruit and veggie juices that are served straight, or blended in ways to offer optimum nutrition.
If you do not find what you want on the Starbucks drink menu, you can always order COFFEE. Just plain coffee. Believe it or not, the regular, fresh brewed coffee at Starbucks is pretty darned good. Grab a cup of House Blend, an American With
Room (for milk or cream) and you’re good to go.
