The very first Joe’s Crab Shack location opened its doors in Houston, Texas in 1991. Just a few successful years later, the restaurant was franchised and two more locations were opened. From the beginning, Joe’s Crab Shack has always had a fun and laidback atmosphere, as customers can see even before they walk in the door with its giant, “Eat at Joe’s!” sign out front at most locations. Most locations feature large patios and breezy seating, and they’re especially popular in coastal areas where they have waterfront seating and lots of fresh air.
Joe’s Crab Shack prices are low enough so that you can bring the whole family to this friendly restaurant for some high-quality seafood without breaking the bank. From appetizers to dessert and beverages, there’s something for everyone at the crab shack.
If you’re just getting your meal started, you might want to take a look at the appetizer menu, which includes Joe’s favorites like clam strips, crab nachos, Crazy Good Crab Dip, mozzarella sticks, clam chowder, and more. Then there are the Steampots, a variety of steamed seafood dishes that will have your mouth watering, including the ever-popular Arctic Bay, Ragin’ Cajun, and Samuel Adams Steampots.
Of course, if you’re eating at Joe’s Crab Shack, you probably want to chow down on some crab, which is why the Joe’s Crab Shack menu offers a variety of choices of crab buckets that you can eat on your own or share with the whole family. And, if you’re not in the mood for seafood, there are also “out of water” choices, including chicken tenders, steak frites, and a 12-ounce ribeye, too.
Along with these selections, customers can quench their thirst with one of numerous signature cocktails, including Southern Spiked Tea, Pineapple Pina Colada, Berry Red Sangria, Mardi Gras Punch, Strawberry Peach Sangria, and a selection of margaritas, beers, and wines, as well.
For dessert, the Joe’s Crab Shack menu offers up several decadent treats, including the Chocolate Shack Attack with its six huge layers of chocolate cake and icing. You can also choose from Campfire S’mores, a delicious apple crumble, a delightful chocolate and caramel sundae, key lime pie, and a classic IBC root beer float.
Thanks to how affordable Joe’s Crab Shack prices are, you can really treat yourself and the whole family. What do you think? Which menu item sounds the best to you?
