7 Weirdest Fast Food Items You Have Ever Seen

Home » Blog » 7 Weirdest Fast Food Items You Have Ever Seen

When you think of fast food restaurants, you probably think of things like burgers, fries, pizza, tacos, and subs, right? Well, that’s not all you’ll get at some of the most popular fast food chains around the world. Prepare yourself for some really strange fast food menu items that you’d have to be pretty brave to try…

Pizza Hut’s Flying Fish Roe Salmon Cream Cheese Pizza

Only available at Pizza Hut locations in Hong Kong, the toppings for this one are sure to turn some customers’ stomachs. Imagine taking a big bite of pizza and getting a mouthful of cream cheese and fish eggs!

White Castle’s Chicken Rings

Instead of onion rings, White Castle offers “chicken rings”, which look a lot like flattened, breaded doughnuts and have so little taste that some reviewers have questioned whether or not they were actually tofu.

Burger King Japan’s Kuro Ninja

The “Black Ninja” burger is famous for its squid-ink black bun, but that’s not all that makes this one of our top strange fast food menu items. The burger’s ingredients include a bacon “tongue” and a large hash brown.

Dunkin Donuts’ Dry Pork and Seaweed Donut

If you’re in China, you can get a protein-rich donut made with dry pork and seaweed. We wouldn’t necessarily recommend it, though, as reviewers haven’t had the most glowing remarks. One noted that this donut looks like “it’s been rotting in Blackbeard’s sunken ship for a hundred years.”

McDonald’s McLobster

The McLobster is a mayo-heavy lobster roll in a submarine sandwich. Some people in Canada and New England must like it because it never seems to leave the McDonald’s menu for good.

Pizza Hut’s Hot Dog Stuffed Crust Pizza

Only available in Australia, this strange fast food menu item combines pizza and hot dogs for results that have us raising our eyebrows. Those are two perfectly normal fast food items, but do they really need to go together?

Burger King’s Bacon Sundae

Want to add something savory to your sundae? The Burger King bacon sundae is drizzled in chocolate and caramel sauce, along with a layer of bacon bits. We’re not sure if this is the best or worst idea Burger King has ever come up with, but we’d be willing to give it a shot.

So, are you ready to try some of these strange fast food menu items from your favorite fast food restaurants?
